OUR PLATFORM
UNITY
​
We are the unifying ticket Warren needs. We represent different generations and sectors of town, and unlike our opponents, we are long-term Warren residents. We would provide a voice and visibility to groups that have never had a seat on the governing body before, and we pledge to take feedback and suggestions from all residents, regardless of party or background. Our intention is to focus on what brings us together, rather than what divides us. Unlike current leadership, we will seek out the expertise of talented residents and look to incorporate best practices from neighboring towns.
We will:

Recognize and honor the heritage of our town via preservation of historic buildings and open space.

Ensure that committee appointments represent a broad cross-section of our community, rather than drawing from the same small pool of political insiders.

Unify the dais to build more effective working relationships between the Township Committee, boards, and residents.
INTEGRITY

We believe that character counts. We are not political opportunists, and are not looking to gain personally from our service to the community. Integrity in the governing body is not only something Warren deserves, but needs now more than ever. We are independent voices who will represent you, unlike our opponents who are the products of long-standing political interests unwilling to relinquish power. We will foster an environment where all are encouraged to share their views. We will be active listeners and ensure everyone is heard.
We will:

Refuse to accept campaign donations from builders or other entities looking to profit from their relationships with Township Committee members.

Ensure high standards across all township committees, including planning and zoning boards, adhering to best practices.

Welcome opposing views in public forums without the belittling and threatening tone that has unfortunately become a part of monthly township meetings.
TRANSPARENCY

Widespread calls for increased transparency in local governance over the last few years have gone unanswered. We are committed to increasing transparency, inviting residents to have an impact on the decision-making process. In the past, critical decisions about planning and development have been made without leveraging community involvement. The result has been haphazard development, mistrust of local leaders and a disregard for the concerns of impacted residents.

We will:

Ensure live streaming and access to published recordings of all Township Committee and board meetings.

Provide clear explanations of all proposed township ordinances and resolutions found on meeting agendas.

Put an end to unnecessary last-minute public meeting cancellations. In addition, we will assure all public meetings are held at times that will maximize public participation
